I have learned that some email addresses have been "Harvested" from Guest Books.

Entering your email address is optional. To protect your privacy and prevent automatic harvesting programs from getting your email address and selling it to Spam accounts, please do this:

If you do enter your email address, insert the text "REMOVETHIS" somewhere in your email address.
This way, if the address gets harvested, it will not be valid and you will not get spam from posting it here. Other possible strings might be "DUMP-THIS", "WITHOUT-THIS", "DELETETHIS", "REM0VETH1S" etc.

Here is an example. Say your email address is: DeerHunter@gohunt.net then you would type in your email address as: DeerHunterREMOVETHIS@gohunt.net and it would not be a valid address, but any person reading the address could easily get the real address. This is just one more way to fool the Spammers.  I apologize for the pop-up in the guestbook. It is a free service and I don't know how to make one of my own.

THE KEY TEXT IS CASE SENSITIVE.... You need to type in the code letters just as you see them. They appear to be all Upper Case. Be sure you type in the same case that is displayed. An "A" is not the same as an "a".
