Ed, that's one of the reasons, I decided I had to learn how to shoot good groups, even before I ever got into br shooting. Just like you said, I see people ALL the time at the range, that have no real concept of the discipline required to shoot consistently small groups. In case you haven't read it, I wrote an article for Varmint Al's page, that covers some of the most basic concepts. I think it's on his shooting page, under "Benchrest Techniques"...or something like that. Until you know you can consistenly shoot small groups, you never know whether to blame the gun, the load, or yourself.
