One Hole,
The bench set up is top of the line Hoppe's complete with baby powder (which helps)(Hey, I've got nearly 50 bucks into it) :-). You raised a couple of good points--the bench is a bit short for me--I feel a bit "humped up" over it. I'm starting to watch my breath control, and trying to be more consistant with my grip--thumb on tang, only middle finger on stock--thinking about trying thumb and index, working on free recoil. No, I used the other guy's setup and it did feel strange though I'm now lusting after a jewel trigger, but I doubt they'll waste their time on one for a Ruger.

The guy up at the range was interesting having been through two strokes (and surgury) and one heart attack. Said he was glad to be out of the wheelchair--he kept getting suck in the mud at the range. Gotta admire him.

Ed
