Question for OUTLAW:Fluted barrels?

Have heard lots of different opinions about fluted s.s. barrels.Some gunsmiths have said fluted barrels disperse heat better, comparing them to the likes of a radial finned motor.Others have told me that a varmint/target size barrel around 1 inch diameter makes no difference.what are your thuoghts?
