Bob, I have read that changing the action spring to a stock AR15 spring, helps the cycleing for use with lighter bullets. I want to have one built to shoot the 75- 80 gr. bullets so this is critical.
I know Armalite is about to reintroduce the 243. I spoke to them about one month ago and they couldn't or wouldn't give me any information on it. So I have no idea about twist rates, barrel lengths and so on. Getting Armalite to build an upper is next to impossible so I'm hoping someone will have the parts and knowledge to put a reliable piece together without screwing me over. Thanks and good luck.
