Rick PFC,
The group of guys I hunted Ground Hogs with in Pa, were all ex-Army and Navy Rifle team members and the rules of the game were ,under 200 you had to shoot "On your hind feet, like a man." Rice paddy prone and kneeling were OK ,too. Makes it more sporting that way. I put a 12 yeard old kid behind my 25-06 , with the bipod down and had him shooting at the metal gongs at 100-150-200, at the range. After hitting each of them a couple of times, he turns to me and says "How do you miss with this thing ?" Good question, with a rifle capable of under 1" at 100 yards , why not make it a bit more sporting? Good practice for deer season ,too.
Good Shooting,
Rick B.
