Thanks for the info. I meant to ask the same question. I'm not varmint or long range shooter yet but I'm thinking of starting (deer hunting now).

A few months ago while sighting in my deer rifle I was thrilled when I shot a 3 rnd. group at a 100 yds. that I said was "less than 3/4" dia.." Well using your method I finally actually measured the group. It is .625 minus .270 equals .355". That is with a stock Rem. 700 and a Simmons 25-10x 50mm.
