Try to find a state senator who is a little loud. This is supposed to be public information, but usually no one asks. Department of Motor Vehicles is the other source (issuer of driver's license) but they may play dumb (ARE they "playing?") to avoid annoyed law dogs. State senator will relish the conflict/publicity.
