SC - sure it will. But the remark below about putting ragged jeans on a princess is very apt. My choice of scopes for my "nice" guns is the Leo 6.5-20, 40mm "Varmint" scope. Look at Natchez for the best prices (about 490 bux - ouch!).
Not only is your smith a good one, he is very perceptive and has given you excellent advice about the trigger. Borrow his scope for a two of three hundred rounds while you look for the best price on a "good" scope. Break in the barrel, start planning your reloading activities (I'll send you a "primer" on equipment and technique if you'll e-mail me) and go out and enjoy.
You've found a good place for advice. The guys here are all princes, even tho this hobby has made them paupers.
