Sako action, bet it's a Sako trigger, too... they're beautiful, but you already know that.

Welcome. My thoughts are that you have a great setup. We don't shoot 'yotes here in the eastern flatlands, yet, but that thing could put a big hurtin' on a groundhog at 300.

Looks like your smith did you a good job for a very reasonable price (Sako's are about a grand, non custom. They have a very good trigger, and a nice stock. You would have ended up doing some big time flinching after many rounds with a 30-06. You can shoot all day with the 223.
