Don't know about other states, but Maine has been "no Sunday hunting" for a long time (decades). I think Maine tried to put through Sunday hunting a few years ago. It had all kinds of opposition. the primary ones were: "It gives us non-hunters a break on Sundays. Can go out and walk the dog or myself without fear of getting shot." I thought Maine was behind the times on that issue, looks like "we were PC, before PC was cool." It sucks.
