Oh yes!!, what a bullet!. I molyed a box yesterday and went to the range today

Sako 17 Mach IV, 24" K&P Gun Co. #3 LV target fluted barrel, Holland lug , pillar and glassbedded in an MPI "A2" stock, with Leupold 6x18 40 mm optics
Pact Model 1 chronograph

Warning!! cannot be responsible for this data used in other guns.

Results @100 yds, 58 degrees, 91% Humidity and wind from SE 12-15, windy enough to tip tripod. No wind flags today, too lazy!!

20 gr Vmax, brass weighted +-.1 gr, neck turned and annealed; loaded with Rem 7.5 primer. 1.844 OAL, 1.546 Ogive OAL, seated .026 from the lands in this gun.

Averages of 4 strings of each of the following loads

17.7 grs N130, vel. avg 4130 fps, ES 36 fps, Avg 5 shot group .386, Avg. 3 shot .209

19.5 grs H335, vel. avg 4003 fps , ES 71 fps
Avg 5 shot group .395, Avg 3 shot .277

16.5 grs AA1680, vel avg 4118 fps, ES 201 fps
Avg 5 shot group .713, Avg 3 shot .486

16.8 grs H4198, vel avg 4303 fps!!, ES 112 fps
Avg 5 shot group .537, Avg 3 shot group .351.

Did manage to shot a 3 shot group of .135, vel avg of 4313 fps .

Results are consistent that N130, H4198 and H335 are the powders for this gun. The N130 load is very consistent, clean burning and .I'm also very surprised by the H4198 velocity, accuracy results. When I take wind flags groups typically range from 0's to low 2's, since I don't hunt with wind flags and today would most likely be the greatest amount of wind I would shoot a .17 in , no further load development will follow.

17.7 grs N130, P-dogs and 16.8 grs H4198 for fat groundhogs

Moly coated 25 gr Don Unmussig HP's

19.4 grs H335, avg vel 3802, ES 75 fps
avg 5 shot group .231, avg 3 shot .145

16.7 grs H4198, avg vel 3835 fps. ES 122 fps
Avg 5 shot group . 269 , avg 3 shot .168
