helllo,
Let me tell you a story. I went to sight in my deer rifle(Rem. 700 .270) before the season. I shot 3 rounds at 100yds with some regular soft point factory stuff. The group dia. was 2 1/2 inches. I shot another group of 3 with the Winchester Supreme Ballistic Silvertips (130gr), the group dia. was less than 3/4". This is a factory gun right out of the box(simmons 3-9x by 50mm scope).

Also, I shot two deer with the silvertips this year. First deer was hit high on the shoulder(187 yds), deflected into the spine into the far shoulder and the bullet came to rest under the skin without a pass through. He dropped dead in his tracks, 100% of the energy went into him, granted it would have been hard to track him with no exit wound but it was not needed.

The other deer was shot(150 yds) too far back and got some guts but because of the rapid and violent expansion of the silvertips, he only went about 60yds before dropping.

The gut shot deer was my fault not the bullets. My excuse is that I had to run about 200yds thru the woods to get to where I could get a shot. I was breathing hard and had to rush the shot a bit(on one knee) because he was leaving the field.

Winchester Ballistic Silvertips seems very accurate and are very lethal.
