Frist Varmint Rifle

This will be my frist varmint rifle and I need some help . I have a Remington 700 short action and plan to use a Douglas XX barrel in 243 Win.
What twist do you recommend for 55 to 85 gr bullets ?
Which stock do you recommend ?
This will be a vary heavy barreled rifle to be shot from a bipod or bench .
