Cryo treating is a heat treatment process that utilizes very cold
temperatures. The claims range from mild stress relief and better
machinability to magic and the evolution of a utpoian society. If you look
into it you will find MANY opinions and a few facts. And the facts won't help
much because they won't have much to do with shooting. Long story short,
don't bother with it. There are as many good barrel makers that use is as don't.
They all shoot. I say, if you can't tell the difference, It isn't worth paying for...
Others will surely disagree, but I bet they don't have any facts either :)

PS Don't look for information from the cryo business. Most of them
perpetuate out right lies about their processes. Although Mark Stouse
from Blackstar seems to be fairly well grounded in reality.
