Can't make my mind up on which rifle to buy.
I had been Coyote hunting twice now and have the
fever. Been looking at two rifles. First is the
Remington 700 ADL 223 synthetic with 24" reg. barrel.
My local gun shop said that the barrel has a 1 in
12" twist. The second rifle is the Savage 12FV in 223.
The Savage web page said that the 12FV is 1 in 9 "
twist. Both of these I can get for around $400 with
taxes. I will be doing most of my hunting in the North Texas area
so most of my shots shouldn't be over 200-300
yards. Please give me your reasons for picking
which one to buy. Also would like to see if there
is anyone in the North Texas area that would to help
do a little mentoring and/or hunting partner.
