Is the BDL worth the extra $ ?

Is the Rem BDL model worth the extra cash? Either ADL or BDL I will keep original wood stock on rifle. (My son likes wood not synthetic). I like my synthetics, but a good wooden stock sure looks warm to me. Besides my gun cabinet is looking kinda gloomy with all those black plastic guns in it.
