A lot of people use the terms "bushing" and "button" to mean the same thing - what you are calling a bushing. Then a lot of other people use the term "button" when describing an expander ball, which of course is the anti-Christ for most folks using "bushing" dies... The terminology can get confusing.

I've got both Redding type "S" and competition neck sizers. Keeping in mind that I have only ONE type "S" die and that it may not be typical - I like the competition style much better as my one and only type "S" does introduce more neck runnout (not using the expander ball) than my competition neck sizer in the same caliber (.22-250).

After a couple decades of sizing with expander balls, the switch to bushings and no expander was a very pleasant experience...

For very good dies that produce very straight ammo for not a lot of money - get the Wilson neck sizer and a plastic faced hammer. That's not how I do it as I don't need to get zero runout from my hunting ammo (I'm getting .002 or less using Redding neck sizers and Forster seaters). But it's probably the most economical way to go for really straight ammo.
