I know the BR guys on this board will have major hissy-fits about this, but I don't use anything but Lee dies. I believe the 1000 record holder a couple of years back used the Lee collet-type neck sizing dies, which is what I use. I don't compete, but shoot some pretty small groups with my .223 700VS, have made some pretty long shots at flying Democrats (crows).

To be sure, the more expensive seating dies are more precise in seating relative to the lands, in increments of .001", etc.; however, like Col. Cooper in G&A, what you can do from a bench with a 40 lb. rifle doesn't relate too much to my real world experiences.

BTW, you wouldn't be GSP, by any chance???
