BR scopes.....

David, you didn't mention if this is your first BR rifle, so if you're a BR vet, these opnions might not mean much to you. For a competition rifle, I would not scrimp on optics. There are really only a few scopes you can use competitively. Weaver, B&L, Leupold, and if you can make weight with it, Nightforce. Usually you can pick up the Weaver or the B&L's a little cheaper than you can get the Leupolds. Optical clarity is too important, especially at 200 yards, when you are trying to resolve holding off half a bullet hole. I've got a World Class 8X32 target scope that is fine for varmint shooting, or informal group shooting, but I wouldn't use it in a competition. It's just too fuzzy. As for power, I'd suggest 36X instead of 24X. Current trend is working it's way up, instead of down, from 36X.
