I got a package from home today, and Savage sent me a package at home in reply to two comments I made on my warranty registration card. I sent it in around the first of the year. I suggested that they put prices for their guns on the web site. They did that, but I doubt it was because of me. I also asked them to outline the trigger adjustment in the owners manual. They replied directly to me and said that because of legal issues they cant publish that info in the regular owners manual, but they would be happy to send me a Savage gunsmith manual that describes the procedure if I had an FFL and said I was a gunsmith. This was a hand written letter that also had a photocopy of my warranty card and they included another owners manual. The employee provided the phone number and her extention if I wanted to make this request or had a question. Between this level of service and the performance of my Savage 12FV I am THOROUGHLY impressed with Savage Arms. I have absolutely NO complaints. I was also impressed by the fact that they actually READ the "comments" section of the warranty card. All of this has made me a firm believer in Savage and how much they want to put out a quality product and stand behind it. With Remington's slipping quality control and now turning its back on varminters, I think there are many more shooters that will have the same satisfying experience with Savage. What else can I say, I am damn impressed with Savage Arms. A First Class outfit.
Nick
