Strange, I am fundamently opposed to the 45! It's a wimpy cartridge with terrible ballistics, and while the 9mm gains some 200-300 feet/sec in the carbine, the 45 almost none. I am still waiting for a company to make a 10mm carbine, that will be jsut the ticket. The Ruger is way more expensive, and I doubt that it will shoot with the Marlin.
