Going thru old 25-06 load records from '91.
Was using Rem 700 action with a factory 1-10 twist
brl and an 8 groove shilen in 1-10 twist at that
time. Using 85 gr nosler balistic tips in Federal
cases with Rem 9 1/2 primers.With IMR 4350 any-
where between 54.0 and 55.0 grains of powder shot
great! 55.5 grains of same showed bolt marks on
case head in 40 degree weather. With IMR 4831 56.0
was best and 57.0 showed slight boltface machining
marks on casehead. My records say IMR 4350 gave
groups about 1/3 smaller than IMR 4831 in this bul-
let weight. Have detailed records for 100 gr Nosler
balistic tip which shot better than 85's in these
barrels. Will give you that info if your interested
otherwise it seems I have taken up too much board
sspace already.
