There is a .300 whisper that was developed for silenced weapons. It is a .221 fireball necked up to .30 caliber using heavy bullets. It is subsonic so there is no sonic crack from the bullet. You have to keep under about 1100 fps or so to be subsonic which really cuts your range (at least for point and shoot without worring about range shooting) Ross
