Actually, it makes no difference to accuracy whether you leave clearance or not if the bedding job is done right. The clearance basically keeps the action and lug from binding should a piece of foreign matter get in there. It allows for easier removal from the stock without harming the bedding. That said, it is always wiser to leave clearance on the front and sides for these reasons. But the affect on barrel or action harmonics is not part of the equation unless the bedding job was botched and the action bedded under stress.
