Live chat rooms tend to attract strange people, that just happened to come across the room while surfing. Also, you get anti's just trying to stir things up. This generally results in lots of arguing and name calling, and very little meaningful conversation takes place. But to some, that's the fun part. At least on a forum board, you have time to compose your thoughts, and count to 10 before you respond to something.
